Geoff joined RoyalMnandi as the Operations Executive - Commercial in 2010. Previously he professionally consulted for 8 years on behalf of Emerging Entrepreneurs, specific to the Hospitality industry. His prior experience included 17 years in the Hospitality retail sector in S.A. & Europe, and 10 years Senior Management experience in S.A., U.S.A. & the Far East in an executive operational role in the Technology sector.

Wilna started her career as a financial clerk, in 2000 she became a financial manager and successfully managed multiple projects and maintained an outstanding track record of growing the company’s profitability. Wilna then moved to Head of Operations for finance for Royal Serve Catering, where she ensured the execution of budgeted financials. In 2012 she was promoted to Financial Manager for mining and remote sites at RoyalMnandi, and is currently Operations Executive.

Glenn started his career as a catering manager and quickly rose through the operational ranks gaining extensive experience in operations, sales and brand management culminating in Glenn holding senior positions in each of the business disciplines. Glenn joined RoyalMnandi in June 2011 and is responsible for new business development and marketing.

Liza joined RoyalMnandi in 2009 and started up the RoyalMnandi Learning Academy, fully accredited with the Catering and Hospitality SETA (CATHSSETA). Liza was previously the owner and executive manager of a highly successful, accredited Training Company and has over 20 years extensive experience in all aspects of education, training and skills development. She specialised in organisational needs assessment and analysis, instructional design and development, presentation and facilitation skills, assessment and moderation. She also did coaching and mentoring and accreditation, quality assurance, skills development, strategic management and organisational development.

       
  Louise Diedericks  

Louise Diedericks

Head of the Learning Academy
Louise acquired her Grande Diploma in Culinary Arts and Wine Cuisine from the prestigious Prue Leith Chef´s Academy. Louise was the Head Chef at Shamwari Game Reserve´s exclusive 5-star lodge in the Eastern Cape. She was also was the Head Chef at Sabi-Sabi Game Reserve in Mpumalanga, Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West Province, and Zongwene Lodge in Mozambique, after which she worked as the Head of Catering at Glenburn Lodge. Louise spent five years in the United Kingdom, where she explored and experienced different cultures and techniques in various hotels and catering organizations in London and Oxford. Louise then turned her focus to training and education, and is currently acquiring her qualification in Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices (ODETD).

After passing all board exams and completing articles she became an Associate with Bowman Gilfillan Attorneys, working with mergers and acquisitions, pension funds and employment law, as well as engineering, construction and sports law. She then moved to Edward Nathan Sonnenberg as an Associate in the engineering, construction and sports law teams. In January 2011 she joined the Protea Coin Group as Legal Advisor and in January 2012 she joined RoyalMnandi as Legal Manager.

Mike joined the Holiday Inn Group after graduating from Hotel School, and worked through the ranks from Front Office, Banqueting and Food and Beverage to Innkeeper in nine years. He had his own Hotel business in Bloemfontein for the following ten years and thereafter joined Sun International at the Wild Coast Sun for a further ten years. Mike joined Fedics in its fledgling Leisure Division in 2000 and moved to RoyalMnandi in 2007.

Philip joined RoyalMnandi as a Consultant in April 2010, and in January 2011 he was appointed as Marketing Executive. Previously he worked for the Tsebo Outsourcing Group for 32 years in various positions ranging from operations to marketing. He has also consulted to Mugg & Bean and worked for the following Hotel Groups: Durban Hotels (Royal Hotel), Southern Sun Hotels and Langham Edward Group. He is a FEDHASA board member.

Executive Business Development – Mining and Remote Sites
Frans joined RoyalMnandi in August 2009 as the Head of Operations for the Ithabeleng joint venture in Rustenburg. Previously he was with Protea Coin as an Operations Manager in the Close Protection Division. He also has a background as a police officer for 12 years; that brings a rich foundation of experience in operations into RoyalMnandi. He was appointed as Operations Executive for Mining and Remote Sites at RoyalMnandi in February 2011 and has recently moved to Business Development.

       
   

Hennie Taljaard

Project and Quality Control Manager
He started his career in the Hotel Industry studying at Wits Hotel School and also completing a junior chef course at Pretoria Technikon. Hennie worked in various hotels throughout the country and became General Manager of Stonehenge In Africa. After returning to Johannesburg he joined Town and Country Cuisine where he was Operations Manager for seven years managing the catering for various events that included 2003 Cricket World Cup, Pavarotti Concert, Tri-Nations Rugby and various State Events across the country.
